I already have an Angemon and an Ankyomon. I want to perform a Jogress to get Shakkoumon. I'm hoping this Digimon can finally Digivolve to its Mega form, allowing it to Digivolve into ClavisAngemon or SlashAngemon. However, the Jogress Evolute item required for the Jogress costs bits, and I want to know how to get bits in this game.
Found a bug: some Digimon don’t change sprites when evolving. Happened with Sunarazimon to Golemon, Plotmon to Golemon, Kunemon to Flymon, Shakomon to Shellmon and Goblimon to Ogremon, etc etc.
Second, Elecmon is seemly bugged, as mine’s not evolving, he’s like lvl 30 and nothing. Evoluter doesn’t work either.
Also, is there any catch and/or evolution guide made for this yet?
The evolution sprite issue is a little strange, since this hasn’t happened before as far as I know. I’ll check it again and try to figure out what’s causing it.
I’ll also look into Elecmon’s evolution. Thanks for letting me know.
There isn’t a catch/evolution guide yet, since this is still just a really small fan game haha. But if there’s anything specific you’re curious about, feel free to ask and I’ll let you know!
As for fullscreen mode, I’m not planning to support it at the moment.
I caught another Wormmon and, when I trained it to Level 16, it Digivolutioned into Hudiemon. I tried closing and reloading the game several times, and it always Digivolutioned into Hudiemon. It seems like the game prevents you from save-scumming to get the Digimon you want and forces you to catch the same Digimon multiple times until it Digivolutiones into the Digimon you really want. And I can’t keep wasting my money on Scanners all the time, since I need that money most of all to buy food to boost my Digimon’s stats.
This game is actually really fun, and the pfp system is quite creative. I hope to see a fully updated version of this game in the future. For now, I'm gonna keep playing
Thank you so much! I’m glad you’re enjoying it. This game is basically Temtem’s battle system with Digimon characters, which is exactly the kind of game I wanted to play. I don’t want it to be misunderstood as my own original idea, but I’m really happy you like it!
Agumon’s Digivolution path has some randomness to it, so it seems like yours rolled into Tyrannomon.
But don’t worry too much about missing Greymon early on. As you continue progressing, you’ll eventually reach an area where Greymon can be encountered naturally, so you can catch one there.
Tell me what the percentage or probability is that Agumon will Digivolve into Greymon. I caught another Agumon to train it, but this one ended up Digivolving into Tyrannomon anyway. I tried restarting the game to get Greymon, but nothing, it keeps Digivolving into Tyrannomon.
Add sprites for the NPCs and the player in the Overworld that move in all four directions instead of moving in a single direction, with an arrow indicating which way they are moving.
I’ve actually tried drawing four-direction movement templates for the characters several times already, but I wasn’t really satisfied with the results.
For now, I want to focus on implementing the more important parts first. If I have enough time later, I’ll take another look at it.
If you successfully capture a poisoned Digimon, it keeps the poisoned status when it joins your party, so it can still take poison damage at the end of the turn. That part is intentional!
And yes, there are more shiny Digimon! Some Digimon don’t have shiny colors added yet, but if you catch one as shiny now, it will still become its shiny-colored version later once its shiny palette is added in a future patch.
Also, Keramon’s sprite is already finished, and I’m currently adding content related to its quest line!

Looks like I'll be real busy with this one seeing that though, lol. I hope to see this all fleshed out in your view though in the end. I'm still loving the game.
Great game! I've only played a bit but I can tell it has lots of love and polish. One thing: There's a glitch on my end where everything is a little... Misaligned? Is that something that's ever come up? Is there a way to fix it on my end?

It's happened in every battle and it affects the menus too. One thing that I think may be related, but can't verify, is that my computer's language is Hebrew, which is written right-to-left. Is it possible that the program derives some of its alignment from the computer's settings?
What a beautiful opening screen. I don't quite like the big sprites, the little ones are beautiful. The gameplay is a very interesting tweak on the pokeformula. All things in, I congratulate you for your excellent production values. Keep this on, I love the direction its taking <3

Hey man, I created an account on Itch so I can say that the game is sick. I just started so far, will continue to play more tomorrow. What are your current plans for the game? I'm very curious because this game is like an unpolished gem. It has a lot of potential. I think this game can even rival some of the best Pokemon FanGames in terms of graphics.
Thank you so much! I do have some ideas in mind, but aside from adding as many Digimon as I can so players can build many different kinds of teams, I’m a little careful about talking too much about future plans, since I’m not sure if I’ll be able to promise everything yet.
Right now, after clearing the current Gyms, the game moves into Gym Rematches, but personally I think the difficulty jumps up pretty brutally at that point.
So while players can try rematches right after clearing the Gyms, I’m also thinking about adding something in between, like side questlines about Ultimate-level Digimon that fill a role similar to legendary Pokémon. I’m not completely sure how it will turn out yet, though!
Once the project reaches a point where it doesn’t need frequent updates anymore, I’m definitely open to releasing the source code. However, I’ll need to think about it carefully first, because there are some purchased assets included in the project, so I need to check whether there would be any licensing issues.
Personally, if it’s possible, I would like to release the source code someday.

How do I make PicoDevimon Digivolve into Devimon? I've been training him, and when he Digivolved at Level 18, he Digivolved into IceDevimon.
At Level 18, PicoDevimon can Digivolve into either IceDevimon or Devimon. It’s a 50/50 chance, so you happened to get IceDevimon this time.
How do I make Wormmon Digivolve into Stingmon? I've been training him, and when he Digivolved at Level 16, he Digivolved into Dokugumon.
Wormmon has three possible evolutions in this game: Dokugumon, Hudiemon, and Stingmon. Each one has a 33% chance.

Agumon’s Digivolution path has some randomness to it, so it seems like yours rolled into Tyrannomon.

I found a bug right after the update and fixed it quickly, so check it when you can!

I'm so loving this game but I was wondering since I saw something that caught my eye along with a small glitch that happened.
First thing: Poisoned Digimon that you caught can still faint upon capture even before the fight's fully over.
Second thing: Are there more 'shiny' Digimon or is there just that one?
Overall, even if not I'm still loving it despite the lack of the Keramon line [no biggie, just fave Digimon]. I'm hyped to see where this goes.

That actually sounds very possible. The game may be unintentionally inheriting right-to-left layout behavior from the system language settings.
I’ll look into it and add a fix so the UI uses left-to-right layout where needed. This helps a lot!
